@@halflifemasta now days there are better and cheaper bikes for a first bike I would recommend any Japanese 600 CC Yamaha R6, Honda CBR, Kawasaki zx6r or Suzuki gsxr

Of course thats subjective, and of course bike tech has improved... but man... this is IT... most beautiful colours. Just incredible in every way. Idea for you: why dont you do a shootout video of this vs a similar Ducati? Epic man!

Hi Its really hard to pick one and thats probably why i ended up with so many LOL. The new V4 is absolutely amazing. Very easy to ride and very fast. With modern bikes being so powerful you really need all the electronic aids for safety. Where as the old bikes 916,996,998,999 and 1098 it was all about your skills . Thats the only think i sometimes dont like about the new bikes they dont give you that feeling of you having to control everything. The V2 i have never rode but they are a very good platform and thats why they are one of the best selling bikes they have. Rumors are for next generation Panigale the V4 and V2 will have smaller CC enhines and no more single side swing arm. So it really depends what you are lookig for. 1098R are still a good deal as you can find them for about $20K and that is the last of the fully analog bikes with no electronics other than a very primitive traction control. 1299 are vevy good as well.

@SuperbikeAngel Thank you for such a prompt and indepth response! If that's true they're getting rid of the single sided swing arm I guess I should pull the trigger before that happens, that will be a real dark day for ducati design. I am torn on rider aids. I love feeling in control and entirely responsible for the machine, but honestly with such big power bikes I think it may be wise to have that safetynet? I'm still torn but I think your point about the value proposition of the 1098s is hard to argue with. I'll try to get a test ride on each before making a final choice. I know either way I'll be happy though, all are stunning bikes!

You are very much correct that the analog bikes provide a different type of fun and excitement. I agree 100%. Even with them only producing 125-150hp is plenty for those bikes. The 998S was also one of my favorite

yes all of them are stored with fluids, i usually start them pretty often and take them out for some short rides.

The F4 Senna is an amazing bike to look and to ride. It really depends on your riding skills. If this is going to be your 1st bike that you ride i will not recommend it. It is a lot a power and a very fast bike for someone that has not ridden. If you have some experience already riding other bikes like 400cc and 600cc you will be fine. With some experience and you already understanding how bikes work you should be all good. But if you are planning on learning how to ride this is not the right bike.

I drove a 750cc bike for 31 hours at a driving school in order to pass the test for the motor bike license. By the way. I decided to obtain the motor bike license, because I really wanted to drive the F4 Senna and watched your videos.:))). However, after I have read your feedback, I don’t want to fall over and damage the F4 Senna, so I started thinking about buying 2 bikes at once (F4 Senna and an used bike with 450cc range for my practice), because if I hold off on buying the F4 Senna this time, I don’t know when a good quality F4 Senna will come on the Japanese market next. Which smaller bike do you think it is good for the practice for F4 Senna? (If you are familiar with smaller bike.). Sorry for asking such a question, but please kindly advise. Thank you. 😊

@@shinjihirano3456 yes that is exactly what i was going to suggest to you. Because Senna bikes do not come up for sale very ofter you might never get the chance to buy another one. So yes if you can get the Senna and another bike to kind of get more used to riding bikes on public roads and in traffic with other cars that would be ideal. Once you get good and comfortable then just sell the other bike

I went to the F1 Imola GP in Italy 3 weeks ago to celebrate for 30 years anniversary of Senna passing. And I happened to see the Ducati Monster Senna at the presentation. It was a really beautiful bike. I still like F4 Senna much more though.

@@shinjihirano3456 i was offered to buy the Monster Senna but i passed on it as i think it is just a way for them to sell more bikes. The MV Senna is a work of art.
